Loving that GUI Cabal, fantastic work there, I'll know who to come to if I need help with a GUI now

Here is the newest version. Wide screen cinematic panel(), 4x3 control panel, and smaller mini-map so it doesn't look out of place with the other stuff on the bottom being shorter.

I'm thinking of making the ship display wider and possibly shorter. You could fit longer ship names that way, since the UNSC and Covenant have long names. I may also set up the speed rail for another button, but I'm not sure. I can only add one button and it won't be usable with a hotkey.

I'll probably use that symbol for the covenant when I get there. I can set up each race to have completely unique layouts for their UI's. I could even give each race their own wire frames for each ship, so for instance the graphic for a CCS would be different for the Covenant than the UNSC. The only thing I can't do with UI's is change the color of the shield bar. That seems to be hardcoded along with shield .sod color. If somebody could figure out how to do that (or the FO team would make something that let A1 players use their awesome shield system) I would make a little shrine to them next to my computer.

Looking awesome mate, simply awesome.

You have done an amazing job on the GUI. I can't wait to see the Covenant.

Hey DinoJR if you need any help with Music I can help you there. I did all the music alterations for Yesteryears and those trailers I has up in the post your video thread and I even found the Halo intro music that I sent to the author of the Forerunner mini mod that was released for A2 sometime ago so if comes the time you need that I can help you.

C.A.B.A.L. - YES, YES and YES! and also; to the underlined stuff in your quote, YES!!! As for the different coloured shield bars - meh - I think the GUI as you have it really has a massive wow factor already

Majestic, i agree - amazing. And - so long as the music is legally able to be used (Im thinking Halogen) then Im in, welcome aboard, the more the merrier and all that!

Great looking new design! I agree once you've reduced the aztec patterning a little it'll be perfect!

The fleet is really coming along, can't wait to see more

Never fear gentle readers, this mod is not stalled, dead or any other such thing! see - I have more!

I have been working on the Covenant fighters lately - and here they are...

The Seraph Space Superiority Fighter...pretty much the standard rank and file Covvy Fighter...




The Gigas Fighter Bomber - not really a bobmer in the traditional sence - I think it would have alot of heavy firepower up front, but have a slow fire rate - meaning it is best used in strafing runs (like the topredo bombers of ww2)




And last - the Tarasque Heavy fighter - not advanced, not clever, but tough...not so much firepower as the Gigas, but more balanced...Bit of a funny shape this one - I was thinking Manta Ray or something...



And here are the terrible trio together; In terms of design lineage, I know that the Tara and the Gigas are older that the seraph, so I figured if the Gigas is the daddy and the Tarasque is the mummy... you get my drift?






Anyways, Im planning on starting up a parallel mod profile thread on MSFC, for thase of you in the know (if you want to join, just as Majest, he's a very accomodating guy! as I know the site has technical difficulties with the registration thingy just now...)

Also, more help migh t be on the way - Ive been offered help by an ace odf'er but more of that later...I better dash - Ive got an hour of cycling to get home

Oh, and thanks C.A.B.A.L. for the GUI work so far...If you wanna discuss any more graphic work with me, Im more than happy! - Your work is awesome!
