Hey man what up long time no speak huh? Well as for the mod i believe.....believe....possibly it could have it a lil snag with our fearless leader having an injury as far as the entire happening i feel that that is DJR right to tell and ill leave that there. As far as the models the Purple threat are more than finished with me just tweaking things here and there and adding hps were i feel they are needed. As far as Maj he's been around helping here and there but he has said he is moving on with modding past A2 just finishing up on going mods. Dan is...........no freaking idea havent seen him in a while here or over at MSFC...odd.
As for the Birthday, dont really know what that has to do with anything personally but i do get to say this "OLDER THAN YOU" lol by 19 days (Jan 10 baby)

I haven't heard from DinoJR and we usually keep each other up to date on our lives. Last I heard he was going on a business trip as he regularly does. But with the Christmas season and new year he no doubt has been busy with friends and family.
You're mostly right about me FG, I am finishing up the projects I am involved with including this one, after which I'll resign myself to making and releasing models on MSFC only, due to my upstanding policy and some people releasing work by me and my team without asking permission or giving credit.
Hey everyone - First, I would like to wish you all a happy new year - may you all have an excellent 2010!
Second, I would like to say that yes, FG is correct, I did have a rather painful accident with a bottle of boiling water whist attempting to unfreeze my bike lock just before Christmas... Leaving me with a nasty scald on my left hand, and a slightly misshapen claw - rather difficult to type with... and painful to boot...
I am now, however 100% fit and healthy (only a bit of scarring on my fingers on my left hand...)
So, this, along with business things (work, huh?) my lack of a gaming / modding PC, the whole Christmas period etc... (In which I have been back to Scotland, the Fatherland... To Brussels, and to the mountains for a skiing trip) have conspired to keep me away from the mod.
Now, however, I have some good news - as FG knows, and as I have been ranting on about for a very VERY long time, I am finally getting a new PC...
but around 15th January (when I get paid ) It will be mine, oh yes, it WILL be mine... mwahahahaaaaa! Then I can get on with the rest of the mod...
Other good news!
I am learning Blender! It is superior to MS3D in so far that it can do more things to meshes... but inferior in that it is nowhere near as user friendly... I am also working on learning to use GIMP, in addition to PSP9... So expect the UNSC models to outshine the Covenant ones... In a kinda dirty and angry low tech way...
So, sorry that Ive been neglecting the mod, and dont worry, it will soon get back into the swing of things!!

Hey boss! just wanted to give you a heads up about the graphics cards...apparently there have been some recent findings that lead me to believe that directx 10 and A2 work as well together as a fat man and a treadmill (of course this IS NOT a fact but more a hypothesis..yeah thats right look at me using big words lol) . idk if that'll apply to you but just a heads up
Fat man+tread mill = cardiac arrest and buckets of sweat...

Thanks for the heads up, I will look into the graphics card a wee bit more closely now...
Also, I have another covenant model ready to go, the NEST... - I realise that the textures ive been making in PSP8 dont always work, but I now have GIMP, so I will try opening and saving them in GIMP first, to see if that helps... pics will be following here and at home, on MSFC... so keep checking back...
I will send a copy to Dan, and also to you, FG - so that you can go about the HPing duties... Dan seems to have a lot of RL to deal with right now...
On a further note - I have been collaborating with CanadaMan7, a SoaSE modder, and some of my models (tweaked, somewhat) have found their way into SoaSE Sins of the Prophets...

Ive seen - and I like! It all looks so good - if we can get our mod to look half as good (on A2's wheezing arthritic engine) then we are doing well... But looking at the team we have assembled here - I think H:FC is gonna look great!
Just thought I would post a wee bit of info here, non MSFC folks - I have been off modding for about a month, due to work, RL, having no PC etc...
But now... IM BACK! just bough ta new lappy, so watch this space (and also MSFC, H:FC's home) for new updates, coming soon!
