Default Mining freighter/orbital processing facility

Sooo... I have a little problem. I was playing around with ODFs last night and tried to make the mining freighter work like the orbital processing facility (so it doesn't need a mining station). However there seemed to be no ODf command to control this. Is it possible to change this or is it hardcoded? Or is there another way to change the mining/processing behavior?

Default Re: Mining freighter/orbital processing facility

would this not work for the freighter?

// which resources can this station process?
resourcesCanHandle = "metal"

or if you what it so that it can handle multiple resources
resourcesCanHandle = "dilithium" "latinum" "metal"

The stock mining freighter ODF already includes that command. It still needs a station... It seems that the orbital processing facility doesn't use an additional ODF command to enable resource processing.

Just go to the mining station and add:

resourcesCanHandle = "metal"

I got tired of the orbital processor and used that. It works great.

The process is the same used on Borg mining collectors.

Assimilate this!
