As for specs and bump maps? I too have tried it, I can only really to get it to work on a few models, not all. I found the bump maps work good but to me the lighting in Armada is not sufficient to make speculars useful. I do know that everytime the d3 loads up (speculars and bumps) my computer hiccups lol. to be fair those maps are 2048 by 2048 |

Small update, added phasers, details, windows and what not (did the bottom texture too, not much different than the top really). Anywho i'm just having trouble lining up and sizing up the thrusters, otherwise all is well. Going slowly though.

and I finally got it ![]() Gotta find out who decided ships need RCS thrusters ![]() Anywho got those thursters done. The rim and bottom of the saucer are all done now. Gotta do the bridge stuff and the saucer is finisnhed (aside from aztecing on rim, sensor dome and bridge module, that comes last for everything but the saucer). I guess after the bridge module i'll go onto the main hull or the pylons? The Bottom texture is a different route than the constitution, only slightly though, less windows and details in different proportions and places (some of it intentional, some of it not )

Thanks again Starfox. Work is going really slow on this, i've been too busy to do anything for a while, but I have done the basic part of the "engineering section". All I have to do is figure out what to put on the top (it's not pictured) then that is done until I have to put aztec patterns on it (noooo lol). After that comes the bridge, struts and then the dreaded nacelles lol...

The Moskava was an inspiration for one of my ships, very cool vessel if you ask me. Post some pics! Anywho i'm just unable to work on the Ticonderoga right now, feels like me and her overstayed our welcomes and need a break form eachother ![]() So I decided to blow some things up, specifically, my Klingon transports. Both transports will have the same damage (where applicable). Have not placed it in the right place on the other transport yet so for now i'll just show the T-8, i've graced the other one the T-9 Frontier transport, or perhaps i'll name it T-7 because it comes earlier? I'm not sure. edit - D'oh, forgot pics
