| Update: Decided to add the Klingon emblem there. I can't always get this thing on all of my Klingon ships (no space or doesn't look right) but Skeeter and I found a spot on this one. Spoiler: |

| Now those are some truly lovely targets--- er, I mean, Klingon attack ships. I can't wait to see them on the receiving end of a photon barrage.... |

I present the next Klingon battleship, it's giant, odly proportioned, clumsy and best described as a lemon. I love making battleships that aren't going to be uber, obvioously she's not useless but she's not going to have an easy time, especially against smaller, more manueverable targets. 1931 polygons, a bit high, but I don't expect to see a million of these ingame just because how they look and the fact that it's a battleship. Introducing, the L-13 Fat Man! Spoiler: Now on to texturing. I actually found this ship much more difficult to model than one would think. Lots of unusual changes in curvature throughout the ship...and then there was the challenge of the nacelle placement. On the ortho's they aren't visible from a head on view, they seem to be somewhat hidden by the wing's curvature at the front. On mine this is also the case, but as soon as you go on an angle they'r visibile, don't have too much of a problem with this, not sure what else I could have done. There are some odd "dark polygons" that appear when I render using a light tracer, however without it and in SOD format, these polygons don't appear to show up. This is a ship i've always wanted to make and i'm glad i've finally started. Texturing will be done within the next couple of weeks hopefully, sorry for the lack of updates but school has really been handing me a beating as of late. | For idead of scale, here are some pictures of her along side some larger ships. I think I have to scale the D39 Shellback down by about 10% looking at this, with the neck extended it's supposed to be approximatley doubled the size of the D7, and the D7 is a tiny bit shorter than the D14 Stinger....shouldn't be too much of a problem, infact it will help reduce the size of my shipyards ![]() Spoiler: |

| Intersting man. Not one of my favorite Klingon BBs but look like a very good pass at her. Any chance you will do a B10 too?

| FASA does have some odd looking designs, and the Fat Man takes the cake at being the most obscure. Looks so cubersome and lumbering. But then again, she could easily blow a run of the mill TOS destroyer to high heavens

| Looking great Fireball, a interesting design that's for sure.
