cause they suck... lol sorry but 8472 are awesome as map units but as a race they are just uninteresting... perhaps I'm alone in that view though.

8472 are cool, but I've got confidence in Yacuzza to maximise what there is available to him. Besides, no reason to say they can't be added later.

The problem with 8472 is that they just don't have tha history to justify full race status. they spend all their time in fluidic space wanting to be left alone and only come out when bothered by someone else. Then it's like dealing with a nest of killer bees. Not saying they aren't cool but I've been trying to find a story that would let me include them in a mod streching all the way back to 2150's and I think if they had been runing around our galaxy for all thoughs years there wouldn't be any star trek history. As a map race they work real well but as a player race well they just get boring quick. I guess it is yet another example of an unfinished part of A2.

I agree, I always thought that the Dominion should've been in their place in stock A2.

I think 8472 got in because they are suposed to be the borgs worst nightmare. Funny thing is that every one forgot about the mod borg nanite torpedos Janway came up with. Since the federation Knew who 8472 was I presume that they had at least begun to talk to Voyager at this point

I cud add 8472 as full race to mod ( have all models i need ) but i wont, they gone be map units.
Now i am working on borg models, maybe 60% finished by now but it is going to take some time before i release public preview with Borg,Romulans and Dominion in ti, maybe month or so have to do much work on maps and some other in game
features.
