Excelsior Retexture Preview
Jetfreak

My friends, "The great experiment", The Excelsior.
Spoiler:

Well this is a preview of a retexture I am working on. This is 9 of 9 nines Excelsior model that I retextured using p81 textures. This is still a WIP but the quality is already starting to show.

But same as the Cheyenne and Excalibur before, I am wondering if I should release it or not, because there are better models out there and 9 of 9's Excelsior isn't really available on A2 files.

Here's more pics
Spoiler:

Here's the Dominion War variant

Comments and suggestions are welcome.

BTW, once again. no Alpha Channel, sorry

Off Topic: How do you put spoiler tags again? I forgot.

thats not bad. Now the next step would be to add aplha channels, then it would be a very nice alternative to p81's high poly version.

As I've said before many atime, the more files released, the better for A2Files, and the better for the A2 community.

Release it.

Hello:
Those are great pics indeed, 9ofNine's Excelsior looks better than ever, that's awesome that you were able to give new life to that model

I like the Excelsior. It is a favorite of mine for too many reasons to go into here. Please release this if you can. There can never be enough good quality ships on A2 Files.

I would love to add alphas but, I just dont know how. I also think the model itself dosen't support alpha channels too.

Here's The Borg textures:

That just keeps looking better and better. Are you going to update anything besides the textures and the model?

Actually, I already submitted it to A2files, when it gets posted, you'll see all the neat stuff I've created for the ship.
