Arrow Star Trek Armada B.W.B. Requests

Build Icon, Wireframe, Bitmap Request Thread

Since I have found that around eighty percent of all ships and stations on Armada Files come without a build icon, wireframe, and or bitmap, I decided that since I could create them, I would start filling requests for them. Also, don’t feel that you can’t fill these also if you can make them. Basic rules are expected to be followed, and will be enforced. There will also be some policies that I myself will enforce.

Before I begin though, I would like to say this, I have discussed it over with Joelteon7, and he agrees, ripped work will not be allowed. The definition for ripped is, a theft, or an act of exploitation. In other words, you may not use these in ships or stations that you plan to publish, without giving clear credit to the creator, in a clear location. The only way, and I stress “only”, to get around this, is if the creator says clearly that he/she does not mind you using his/her work without giving proper credit. Punishment for ripped work will be listed below.

Rules
  • Basics
    • No Ripping, unless clear consent is given. No Excuses for ripped work, at all!
    • A 15-request limit per person a week. A limit to three (3) files every two (2) days.
    • Each request may only contain one (1) file. Only 1 build icon, wireframe, or bitmap per request.
    • The ship must be available for download, or a ship must be provided to the person taking the request.
    • You must follow the way they want to receive the ship. If they want you to e-mail them a .rar, or .zip file for it, then you can’t PM it to them.
    • If the ship is already up on Armada Files, a clear URL must be presented. Example: Underlined and Blue, Bold and Blue ECT.)
    • Any request without a clear method of receiving the ship will be ignored, and the request will be subtracted from your total amount left.
  • Credits
    • Clear credit must be given if the ship or station is going to be released in any way, private release between friends, or public release to a large community.
    • This credit format must be followed.
Code:
 Username of the creator.
What that person made. (Build Icon, Wireframe, Bitmap.)
When they made it. (The date you received the files)
The creators e-mail address (If the creator wants this in the credit. This can be replaced with a website.)
    • Any person who uses these in their modification, and does not provide clear credit, or claims that he/she has made them his/herself, then proper punishment will be enforced.
Punishment for Ripped Work

No ripped work of any kind will be tolerated. If you do claim the files you receive here as your own, then it could lead to a possible file removal, a one-month site/network ban, or a network wide permanent ban. Joelteon7 has assured me that he will enforce these.

Simple way of putting it, don’t even try to rip someone else’s work. You will be caught, since we have proof that you received them here. No excuses will be accepted; this is made clear by the rules.

Request Template

Ship/Station Download: (URL to file, or state that you will e-mail it to the person who accepts this request.)
Type of unit: (Ship or Station)
Type of request: (Build Icon, Wireframe, Bitmap.)
Glow around ship: (Build Icons only! State the Hex color you would like it to be, or remove this line if you don’t want any.)

Policies

I myself will re-make your Build Icon, Wireframe, or Bitmap personally if you did not like it, and there was a considerable margin for error. You cannot get the wireframe re-done if one pixel is not the way you want it. If you still feel that it should be re-done, make another request, but it will use up one of the requests that you have remaining.

If the file is not up to our standards, then it will be re-made, and you will not lose a request. You can state in your request template that you do not want someone doing the file, if you just don’t like his/her work.

Other

If the request in anyway, has not followed the rules, or the template above, then it can be ignored, and the user will not be-able to reuse that request. Please also realize that people have lives, and they cannot fill your request right away. Give at least two to three days before you start asking if someone will do it. Also please take into account that your request may have not followed the rules, and was ignored.

Please also realize that these can be changed at anytime for any reason. Some rules may be added, and some may be removed. It is suggested that you skim this post regularly to see if any changes where made.

Stuck! (with glue and blue tac etc)

I also think this would be best suited in the Modding & Editing Discussion, don't you?

Thanks, we are now open for business. Also, I saw other request threads in here, so I thought it was the right place to go. Sorry.

The reason why I don't add them sometimes is because they are so simple to create. But good on you Wraith Shadow.

This is the same as my "What You Leave Behind Idea" (which by the way Jlt7 & SSA iam still waiting on a responce for). the only difference was i was going to add a easy installer for newbies as well.

What YOU leave Behind ...

But im not sure how this thread will work, didnt thought that wireframes, buildbuttons and admiral`s pics are such important that we need a request thread. And everybody can create them especially with available tutorials.

but not everybody can create 3d models coz its hard work and the programs cost money.

Well, for the wireframe, it is nice to have a nice program like photoshop or paintshop pro to use while making them. I have photoshop. Also it's a little of people being lazy and not wanting to make their own. Also, without the build icons and wireframes, the game could get confusing, and also aggervating. You would always have to put your mouse over a blank space to see what ship or station it is.

Would it be possible to get a wireframe for the Constitution class starship?
