Help with duplicated wireframes of existing ships

I'm trying to make wireframes for Klingon K'tinga and K'vort ships and don't know how to do it. I want to use the existing kfrigate and kcruiser3 wireframes for these ships but I can't find where the files for them are so I can duplicate them. Can anyone please help?

Have a look in your gui_global.spr file. Scroll down to wireframes and it should be listed there. Then just find the file in your rgb folder, and copy it. If you are not changing the wireframes why not just link to them in your gui_global.spr file, no need to copy them

Ok, I copied the kfrigatew1-w5 to kktingaw1-1-5
and kcruiser3w1-w5 to kkvortw1-w5. but nothing shows up when I build them.

Ok, I found it back on the Armada II webpages. It isn't available at this forums site. But it only shows how to make new wireframe. I'm looking to use the current wireframes for the kfrigatew1-w5 and kcruiser3w1-w5. The manual doesn't show how to use the stock ones.

As cungi said, use the references in the gui_global.spr file... just rename the shipname to your new ones. E.G.-

Copy and paste this:
kfrigatew1 klingwireframe02 0 48 48 48
kfrigatew2 klingwireframe02 48 48 48 48
kfrigatew3 klingwireframe02 96 48 48 48
kfrigatew4 klingwireframe02 144 48 48 48
kfrigatew5 klingwireframe02 192 48 48 48

below and rename as this:
kktingaw1 klingwireframe02 0 48 48 48
kktingaw2 klingwireframe02 48 48 48 48
kktingaw3 klingwireframe02 96 48 48 48
kktingaw4 klingwireframe02 144 48 48 48
kktingaw5 klingwireframe02 192 48 48 48

Then do the same with the other. You should have working wireframes for your new ships.

but they don't seem to work.
and I don't want to rename my ships, I want to add ships and use the same wireframes. for example... I want to use the Chuq'Beh class wireframe for it and the Ktinga class D7 and maybe D6.

Hmm, you say you build them, and they show up in-game, but without wireframes? If that's the case, I don't know what's wrong. You didn't put them under something other than @reference=256? They should be placed with the other Klingon wireframes, usually at the bottom of the list, but make sure you don't put them under a different @reference=256 number.

And did you do anything with buttons?

The buttons work fine. They use the stock ones. I didn't build any wireframe pictures or buttons. I want to use the stock ones that are already in the game. I put the wireframe listings under the @reference=64.
