well, keep scaling down until it gets to a managable size... try 0.05...

open the file and shrink the model that way

Ok, I think the model is way too big. I've tried to shrink it to 0.001 and its still too big.

Edit:
Ok, I give up. If someone figures this out, please let me know.

Well, all I can say is to try to keep scaling it down... is it changing size at all? I never liked the Death Star in a mod so I never bothered with it...

As far as I know, that mod comes at a normal size (roughly the scale of the Fed starbase).

Not sure I understand, but it sounds like you might have a problem with the changes you mention in post #18. The "Footprint" might be your problem. Or changing it to a craft... was that an odf edit?

I have no clue. I'm learning slowly. I did change it from station to craft though.

By odf edit, I mean did you edit an .odf file with a text editing program?

Yes, I been editing an odf file... dstar.odf to be exact.

Re: Deathstarmod installation

Check the scaleSod command using "Find" (ctrl-F). You may have another instance in the file making your ship too big.

Also, try changing it back to a station, if that's how it was to start. See if that fixes your prob.

Editing odfs can be tricky until you learn what to look for. Keep at it.
