starfield question & question
 

after downloading yacuzza's space transformation pack i've been working on tweaking some aspects of it... specifically the starfield parameters because the ones from yacuzza's pack tend to lag my game.

so far nothing i've tried has resulted in an even distribution that won't slow down gameplay.
if i've got an even starfield, i've got lag.
if i don't have lag, i've got really blotchy stars.

also, i'm currently working on creating several new interfaces (fed, klingon, cardie and romulan) based off chyu-chen's tutorial for my own usage. considering there are very few gui's available for download (per my knowledge of a2files and afc), i'm wondering if there's any demand for them?

any help or comments are greatly appreciated.

With GIU's I coukd possibly help when I have the time, I am doing/done GUIs for the Parallels and Federation mods.

thanks majest for the offer, but i most likely won't need anybodies in regards to the interfaces...

going for a simple, almost minimalist approach with textures based off of race ships...

you can see what i mean in the attached example (which is the romulan cinema panel so far), valdore hull texturing and the romulan logo as seen in 'nemesis'...

What is Yacuzza's "Space Transformation Pack".. ?
does it by any chance.. modify/change the space background.. if does then can i have link to it(if it's publicly available).. because i have been trying to do the same.. for O.. so long..

It contains new background textures, new starfield parameters, new nebulas, new asteroids, suns... the works basically.

Just search for it at a2files, you'll find it.

yeah.. exactly what section is it in.. i've checked the misc and textures side.. but found nothing of the sort...

i had been looking for this ...for sometime now.. // i was looking in the wrong section.. maybe shis belong's in the texture/misc section as well.
