| I think its about time I learnt how to model, I have been told it is best to start by editing established models (for my own use of cause, and purly as a practice/testbed). Does any one have a "simple" tutorial I could follow to do this. I have tried all the ones availbale online but keep getting myself in a right muddle (thats why I have asked for a simple tutorial). Any help will be greatly recieved.

| Well first I would learn hardpointing. Since any model won't work without the hierarchy. Go to Major Payne's tutorial and work with that. Then I would use the BBOM to help you get started actually making models.

| well it depends on what modelling programe you are using, but the BBOM is a good place to start.

| Also, Achilles' texture tutorial is fantastic for textures (so I've been told), so when you get to that point, I suggest you look into it.

| Tutorials aren' tnormally the way to learn. My advice would be to get hold of some already made models and then rebuild them. You will learn quite alot from just doing the practical side of things. As for texturing, Achilles tutorial is one of the best sources for this, but again. If you have access to them you could try copying other peoples work. Theres nothing like ones own experience.

| I myself am learning to model. I have two of the best Armada modellers (Syf and EAS_Intrepid) helping me, but like all things it takes time.
