Default is there a texture mod?

is there a texture mod that changes all the textures to better one to make the game look kl?
iv been looking for ages for one that changes all of them and makes the phaser and photon torp affects better
anyone know one?

There is one, a damn good one too. its at www.a2upgrades.net. it contains better phaser, torpedo and pulse textures.

Not to mention shields and explosions (including a fleet ops style "wave" effect) in current releases. The next version will likely also contain new spark effects and possibly new phaser effects for all the races depending on the beta testers opinions. There will also be refined versions of the Fed and Rom torpedo in the next version so it would be worth either checking the site every couple of months or signing up for the e-mail notification.

Feel free to use the textures in your own modifications.

Does anyone here know what the policy is regarding posting links to external sites?
