Wrong wireframe... Hi, i've downloaded the eximus class and installed it with the help of the installing instructions, but now the wireframe shows only one part of the ship. Can you tell me how to eliminate this bug??? thx for ur help:) |
Re: Wrong wireframe... It sounds like the reference size for the wireframe is incorrect!! ;) |
Re: Wrong wireframe... Can you tell me the correct reference?:) |
Re: Wrong wireframe... Well, if we assume that this is the problem you are having, all you have to do is make sure the wireframe co-ordinates are listed in the gui_global under the reference depicting the size of the wireframe TGA file. If the wireframe TGA is 128 pixels wide x 128 pixels high then it needs to be listed under - @reference=128 if the wireframe TGA is 256 pixels wide x 256 pixels high then it needs to be listed under - @reference=256 and so on!! ;) If a 256 x 256 wireframe tga has it's co-ordinates listed under @reference=128 it will only show a part of the ship which is what I believe your problem to be!! I could be wrong of course!! :D |
Re: Wrong wireframe... Yes but I looked for the wireframe in the tga folder and the ship was splitted up into 5 parts.... |
Re: Wrong wireframe... Thats the one!! ;) Those five parts are merged together by the game to form the whole ship. Then each of those parts can flash independently, depending on what system is damaged!! Check the size of that entire file in a image viewer & then confirm that the co-ordinates are listed under the correct reference in the gui_global!! :D |
Re: Wrong wireframe... I wrote:eximusw1 fweximus 0 0 256 256 eximusw2 fweximus 0 0 256 256 eximusw3 fweximus 0 0 256 256 eximusw4 fweximus 0 0 256 256 eximusw5 fweximus 0 0 256 256 and now it shows the wireframe completley, but splitted!!!! |
Re: Wrong wireframe... OK, It seems I have not been very clear because you have misunderstood me completely!! :p Not to worry, I dug this ship out from my storage folder & had a look at the wireframe & the install instructions and I can see why you had problems. The instructions are somewhat misleading to say the least!! :uhoh: Anyway try using the co-ordinates below & see how you go!! @reference=256 @tmaterial=interface eximusw1 fweximus 80 0 80 80 eximusw2 fweximus 0 80 80 80 eximusw3 fweximus 80 80 80 80 eximusw4 fweximus 160 0 80 80 eximusw5 fweximus 0 0 80 80 Hopefully this will fix it for you!! :D |
