How do you create your own ship

I would like to know what I would need to build my very own vessel for Armada 2. I would also like a crash course in making special weapons and regular weapons too.

Help me out please.

look around on www.A2files.com and www.armadafleetcommand.com and download the various tutorials which are available. Next get yourself a good 3d modelling program (3dmax studio if you have the cash to outlay. Milkshape 3d is also ideal for this) for creation of the physical models. For texture creation and manipulation use a program such as paint ship pro or photoshop.

As for a crash course. There is no such thing. As a well know Armada 1/2 modder its taken me around 4 years to get to the point I am at and I still have much to learn.

no programs are needed for making weapons. notepad or wordpad will work just fine to do so. As for learning to do it. a good start is westworlds big book of modding.. as for making a working weapon is alittle harder.. run around the folders in a2s weapons. see whats possible and whats not. then work from there.
