| A playoff system may be a good idea, but how would it work unless you only consider letting the top 25 teams compete for the BCS title? Honestly, though, it college basketball has a playoff system based on the 25 from certain areas, then it could work. I think the first hurdle against a playoff system in the conference system that is in place, though it's only a minor hurdle. Also, a playoff system means more games. But I would support it if it was plausible. One idea is to let the top few from each conference compete for spots in the NCAA playoffs and go from there. That defeats the purpose of ranking since there are a ton of conferences and some of them have generally crappy teams.
