What sports do you hate the most?
 

Pretty simple really. This may come as a shocker but I hate the big three sports in America, basketball baseball and football. Can't stand them, really.

Basketball I hate just because I suck at it. That and I am not a fan of using my hands.

Baseball, boring.

Football, mostly all hands or blocking people and whatever, not my thing. Plus it is a redneck sport.

And then I hate boxing as well. The whole concept of it just sucks. Beat eachother up for half an hour. No thanks.

LOL! Soccer involves the use of the legs which is why I like it, and the sport gives you a lot of room to do complex manuevers that you can't really do in basketball, baseball, or football because you are limited to certain restrictions. It is the most popular sport in the world. Usually I refer to it as Euro Footy because technically it is called football.

It is a fast paced sport. An international sport. And in my opinion the best of the best. I wish it were more popular here, because the leagues we do have don't get much attention.

The worst sport is football. I mean wayy to much physical contact it looks like there humping each other. My friends and I made a game during reacess called
"odd-job" Its where you have frisbees and throw them at each other and if you get hit in the leg you lose your leg and you can use it. If you get in the balls you have to act 4 year old girl.

Soccer/Football - I just don't get it. I've tried to watch it, but I just can't. I'll keep trying.

Bowling - Is that a sport? They sure don't look like athletes...

American football- Start, stop, start, stop. Repeat to infinity.

Rugby- Same as American football, just without shoulder pads.

Darts- Fun to play, extremely dull to watch.

Cricket- Some sports seem like they go on for days. This sport actually does.

Basketball- Not so much playing, but watching. It's incredibly boring seeing people just run up and down the court.

Football-Another sport that is pretty boring to watch, not any specific reason, it's just not very entertaining for me, either playing or watching

Actually Rugby is completly different from american football, there is no stopping and starting like in American Football. Just thought i'd make that point!

I personaly hate cricket, sooooo dull, lasts forever, what I do find funny about cricket is all the fans acting like it is some kind of majorly exiting sport and getting drunk on red wine!

You can't forward pass in American football either except behind that one line.

American football is extremely boring though. I just don't understand how people find it exciting. I have yet to see a real game of rugby so I can't pass judgement on it.

Soccer is exciting for me. Lots of action.

Curling I don't mind--but it's hardly a "sport." It's like shuffleboard on ice, not a sport, but still a challenging curious little game.

I really hate:

1. Golf.

2. Baseball.

3. Basketball.

Most sports are fun to play. As a spectator golf and tennis suck the most. I'm being tortured by Wimbledon at the moment - all the crap sports get a brief moment during the football close season. Roll on August.

I don't like to 'watch' ANY sport. I get just about as much satisfaction from that as I do watching somebody else play video games. If you're going to be 'into' sport, I say, just go out there and actually do it yourself. Otherwise there's no point. It always makes me laugh when someone with a belly so large it has a gravity well that rivals that of Jupiter says they are a 'sports fan'. Heh. I honestly have no idea how an activity originally designed for everybody to play for FUN turned into some kind of spectator-fest. Watching other people play games has become a multi-billion dollar commercial industry! WTF?!

I used to like playing a plot of sports, but I haven't really done any of them for a couple of years now, aside from tennis once in a while.

Uhh, Matt not everyone is suited to say go out and play Football with a bunch of professional athletes that can smash you in a million pieces.

Most of us couldn't survive a full game of basketball against the pros without having your heart give out.
I've played a lot of sports myself and I still love to watch other people who are amazing at what they do play them.

If you truly do not understand why people are sports fans that love to watch their fav sport then you are stranger than I even imagined.

Yeah, Matt. Spectator sports goes back to anceint Rome, and further, as well as many cultures--hell, even the Inka had brutal sports.

It's just plain fun to watch others inflict massive amounts of pain onto each other.

The whole idea that you can have 'professional' game players is just a testament to the stupid society we live in. So what if people are amazing at a game? It's not like they're doing anything particularly important, certainly nothing important enough to earn them millions and millions of pounds per year. The worst part of it is, I doubt how many 'professional' sportsmen are actually having fun, which is what the bloody games were originally designed for. And if this is 'strange', so be it. I won't even begin to try and put what I think of 'normal' people into non-offensive terms. I'll just laugh at the sad people who literally devote their lives to their favourite sports team, and who actually break the law in anger if their favourite sports team loses.

If more people played these games instead of watching them, the world would be a healthier, happier place.

As I recall, a lot of Roman 'sport' often had a practical purpose. And even then people didn't take it as seriously as they do now. People actually live their lives based around OTHER PEOPLE PLAYING GAMES. It's fucking ridiculous.

I used to hate playing Rugby at school, especially as we'd play during the winter months, wearing little more than a pair of shorts and a rugby top. The prospect of falling into a large pool of ice cold mud, or onto rock hard soil, was more than enough to put me off it, let alone the indignity of having to shower, naked, in front of all your classmates. Not a nice experience for a thirteen year-old. Despite that i quite like to watch rugby though.

I'm more a fan of Motorsport, though nothing of the two-wheeled kind, or those that involve racing around an oval, which i find rather tedious.

football(US) is great to play and watch, big men made even bigger by helmets and shoulder pads hitting each other to move a football 100 yards. I don't see how it is boring.

Playing it sucks, but watching it is the worst thing in the world for me. Stop and go, stop and go, over and over, and the plays last an average of four seconds. BORING.

I VASTLY dislike basketball; watching or playing, it's all the same, I greatly dislike it. One of the reasons, it's too small of an area. I'll take my 120 yard soccer field any day. As a result, your running is confined to such a small area you have to run around in a circle instead of using the weaving and dodging path you can in soccer or football. I find the throwing of a ball in that fashion quite annoying, I far prefer a football styled through, and beyond that, I would rather just kick it like a soccer ball :p I don't like the scoring mechanism of getting it in this little basket, because you can't run like crap straight into it, and you can't rocket it like you can a football to the endzone or a soccerball at the goalie's head. You can't use the pure physical force you can use in football or soccer, you just run around like a headless chicken with a big ball that you want to git in a little hoop. It's just so slow and meaningless in my opinion :clueless:

It takes people with a lot of brute strength to play football. Although I don't like it, I am not dissing the players. They are tough. Most rugby players I see are much smaller than football players. Rugby is an entirely different sport with the same theme. Don't try to compare the two.

If football players didn't use padding, the chances of getting broken bones, even a broken neck, would multiply insanely in one game.

You seriously underestimate our football teams. Even without the padded clothing, they are still huge and athletic. Just as athletic as any pro rugby player. I don't understand how you can think they are going to suck.

Yeah, I hate when people compare the two. It is like I said, the game of rugby revolves around a similar theme to football, but it has many differences that enable rugby players to play without padding.
