All of the Americans seem to like English Premiership teams. Are your clubs just shite?

I support Glasgow Rangers with all of my heart. I also like Blackburn Rovers, since half of their team is made from ex-Rangers players, and Chelsea.

I have the rare honour of being able to say I've supported Chelsea for years before they got all the money they have. I'm not a glory hunter like 80% of their fans now. Hah!

They're not so bad but they're just not near the level of European leagues. The main benefit is that they make the U.S. national team better. Before MLS only the very best U.S. players could get on a team in Europe. All of the others probably weren't able to play football/soccer full time so their game didn't develop as much as possible. Now players who aren't good enough to play in better international leagues still have the chance to play full time and develop their skills, which gives the national team a wider talent base to draw from.
