You mean like Bob Kraft, who owns the Patriots? Or are you talking about the Kraft family of packaged cheeses? Haha.

Franchise is such an ugly word for a fan. You hit the nail on the head though. We do need the cash it would likely generate.

I hear the New England Patriots have been very successful on the pitch under his ownership. Does he just stick to the business side of things and leave the football to the manager & coachs?
