Star Wars: Empire at War Rogues Since our days are now numbered, I feel I can finally admit to something I doubt any of you knew. ROGUES WAS A LIE ALL ALONG! IT WAS NEVER GOING TO HAPPEN! IT WAS NOTHING MORE THAN THE PIPE DREAM OF AN AMATEUR IN OVER HIS HEAD!
I'm like the crossover generation, I'll use whatever unit makes the most sense in a particular situation.
I hate when technical brochures use inappropriate units. Like 'this car is 4325 mm long'. Really? You couldn't just say 4.3 meters?
I use feet often because they're a handy size between a meter/yard and centimeters/inches.
I use miles or kilometers depending on whom I'm talking to, and gallons/liters, pounds/kilos too.
The older folk don't really use metric and in the whole wood/lumber/logging industry SI units are still standard for the working man, only converted to metric for the company and consumer later.
But all that rod/furlong/hogshead/bushel stuff I'm clueless about.
