Beer is why we are all here in the first place. During the Dark Ages, you DON'T drink the water. The people were smart enough to figure out that you have to drink beer because water will make you sick. But they never figured out that boiling the water kills the viruses and bacteria. And of course, you have to boil the water to make the beer, so the beer was safe to drink. So there you go. Beer is responsible for humans still existing today.
