I mean fuck the pub isn't the only forum, we have like no activity in GD, gaming, entertainment, etc.- what, are these forums too "mean" for all of you too?
One reason those forums might be inactive is that they don't get activity. Er. Let me explain. You wouldn't post on a forum nobody goes to. You want a response after all. Spamming Forum is reasonably active so people come here. On the other hand GD, gaming, entertainment and pub have a few topics each that have been posted to in the last week. I think part of why nobody visits is that they feel stagnant.
For the amount of activity FFGF gets it might have too many subforums.
The problem is that everyone here has grown up. Notice all the join dates are from 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008? 2008 was 5 years ago. If someone joined this forum when they were 15, they would be 20 now. Adults don't have time to debate like know-it-all high schoolers. We barely have time to play games, let alone share them on internet forums. Combined with the decline of overall gaming culture, it's hard to predict the future of these forums. The "hardcore gamer" stereotype is on its way out as old ladies and soccer moms discover how much "fun" the Wii is. It doesn't help that game developers are releasing shittier and more forgettable games more often and the decent games either get over-hyped to hell or not hyped at all.

I have to deal with this every day and it depresses me more and more. It's taken me half a year and I'm nowhere near done with Skyrim, and it's all due to employment.

Love in the Summer
Followed the sun till night
Reminiscing other times of life
For each every other

The shock hit eleven, got lost in your eyes
I can't do well when I think you're gonna leave
But I know I try
Are you gonna leave me now?
Can't you be believing now?
Can you remember and humanise?
It was still where we'd energised
Lie in the sand and visualise
Like it's '75 again
Thats right. These are the seasons of life. There are those who shall remember the mid 2010s. Life continues.
I miss the days of rolling round on steam locomotives wearing top hats and admir'ing the iron works and cotton mills that adorn our precious landscapes.
