Anybody else think Billie Joe just doesn't care anymore?
I think he just plays in Green Day to make the moneys nowaday. He seems to have a lot of fun playing in his sideprojects while Green Day is basically going down the toilet.
Face it, they were good in the 90s, they were good in 2004, hell they had SOME spirit in 2009. But they just don't care anymore. Their new albums sound like a bunch of crappy songs written by his side projects because he has nothing to rebel against anymore.
Whenever I think of BJ anymore I just think of that guy who has a lot of fun playing little venues with his fun music. Not the rocker who plays in Green Day. It's really sad but what are you going to do. He basically dropped the ball.
