Tachy Goes to Coventry is a fun vB3 feature that I think is sadly underused, however. Not quite as cool as your old fake forum meltdown plugin, but almost as good. It lets users continue to post, but their posts are hidden from every other user, afaik, effectively banning them but without them noticing it.
The thing I liked most about Crash was those podcasts that we had for a while. They were fairly fun listening. There was more demand for that sort of thing back then, mind.

Frig, plugins, eh? Remember when that was a new thing introduced to vB? We all had so much fun overloading the forums with all that new plugin crap. I haven't been under the hood in vB for years.
I don't remember the podcasts but I recall the huge staff meeting with merimeke (can't remember how to spell his name). It ended up being a pretty big thing and AzH and I disagreed with him (I don't remember the situation surrounding that) eventually getting him removed from his position which I then replaced. That was how I got my bump to SA. Good times! haha

Did I ever get the chance to ban you? I remember when we promoted you to administrator, we didn't ban you right away because we needed you to work on the forums.

Actually, I can safely say I have never, ever been banned.
Except by y2ktm2 as Mr. Matt alluded too. But that's a long story.
That may be true, but when you do, it's an absolute massacre.
I've only done that once!
Though it did lead to a humorous attempt at getting me fired by two ambitious volunteer's
