Apparently I fucking fail at it. Hard.

1) Cashier apparently flirts with me. Parents, who are visiting, are like "wtf y u no see she flirt?"
2) There was a girl in highschool I flirted with a lot, but I thought we were just screwing around, weirding people out. Nope, apparently she liked me.
3) Same thing is currently happening with another girl. WTF WHICH ONE IS IT screwing around or real flirting. I may have exploded that by not asking her out. Now some other guy asked her out.

Am I somehow convinced no one could possibly like me, so I automatically attribute any flirting to screwing around?

Sometimes it's good to not notice flirting, I know a few girls flirted with me throughout highschool quite a bit because I ignored it so they'd keep doing it. One even went far enough to date one of my friends to get to me.

No clue. She's one of my good friends now though. And she's dating my best friend as well. I can safely say she has no feelings for me now because they moved up north (god knows why) for an extended vacation.

She went from being the first girl I met in grade 1 to having some sort of romantic obsession with me through middle and some of high school to dating my best friend. :Panic:
