I don't know, I've never been banned, but I've never seen his name come up on the list of active users.

The default bans do not allow you to view the forums. A vBulletin message pops up stating the reason of your ban and whatnot. But of course, there could be custom settings for that if the administrators have decided to do so.

EDIT: damn it, just saw that there was a 5th page still.

As long as you delete your cookies so it doesn't remember you as logged in, then you can surf the forums. You just can't post. This is for both perma and temp bans.

Oh, he was referring to that? I was kind of talking about viewing the forum without doing so (or using said account). My bad.
