Why Galactic Civilizations 2 is one of my favorite games. It has an evil minor race of squirrels called the Snathi.

Freelancer comes in as a close second.

I always play the Terrans. Most of the time I go for a tech victory, and occasionally a cultural victory. The reason I prefer the tech route is because of all the great tech descriptions.

It looks abit like the Final Frontier mod for Civilization IV: Beyond the Sword.

I renamed my faction from "New Earth" to "Coalition of Terra", plus I give all my ships custom names(Though that might be more of a bad habit, as I named the scout group in that screen "Eclipse Fighter "January").

Whenever I play Civ 4 I always become too addicted to the Rhye's and Fall mod to try any others.
