Uhh Zapex, when I use GIMP to put in text, after I type in the text, what do I do to make it so I can alter the picture again? Because it seems it is permanently selecting a little rectangle around the text. For extra motivation, I am making your sig.

You just have to deselect it. I think there's a button for that. Usually I just click on the lasso tool and it deselects automatically

Well, it is a dashed yellow line that I can't seem to get rid of.

Yeah, like, when i use the text editor, like have it opened up, There is only a help and a close button, but not ok one.

Oh I dunno how to get rid of the yellow thing I usually wait til the end of the project to add text. You can still edit with the yellow thing though

oh, but if you flatten the image it gets rid of the yellow borders

But only inside of the yellow thing, for me anyway.
