never played an mmorpg in my life
and never will

D&D and other PnP (and computer) RPGs > MMORPGs (they often don't appear to have much of a quest storyline anyway, epic singleplayer campaigns ftw!).

Yeah that!!! MMORPG is for people who get bored easily and need to constantly do something!! while single player is for RPG grogs that care more about storyline and basically want more bang for their buck!!

Most of my know how came from the Icewindale books and games, Your party kinda tangled with them a lot. I still remember the spawn bug in the drider caves..Ugg!!

Icewind Dale II was horrible, I thought, although I liked the first one. I've also read quite a few of Salvatore's Forgotten Realms books. Great author.
