Long Version:
so me and my budies were hanging out at The Brothers Pizza listenin to some bands, my friends Russ drove me there with another friend in his Camaro, we met up with some of his friends i didnt know to well
so anyway its time to leave and Russ doesnt want to drive all the way back out to my house so he tells Matt to give me a ride home, we are getting ready to leave in his 2000 Eclipse GT and they start laughing and they go "dude you better fucking buckle up!" but i thought they were joking
so we leave the paking lot and he floors it and the front wheels spinning and we take off, i thought he was showing off bu he did it at every stop and we were doing 70mph down the 35mph main stretch (the road is empty at this time a night) then to pass a car he goes down the turning lane
so were are fucking flying around until he gets onto the highway, he cuts the corner of the onramp and floors it we are doing 80mph when we get off the onramp, and hes still got it floored, and i go "do you always drive like this?!!" and he goes "yeah, whats wrong?", he gets to 90 and i think hes going to slow down but hes not
we hit 100mph and all the sudden we see fucking blue lights come on in front of us and we are like "holy fucking shit!!", i look back and this cop is hauling ass, so we pulled over and walks up he yells..
"give me your drivers liscence and good fucking excuse not to send you to jail right now!!!"
Matt says "...just...trying to beat curfew...", and the cop goes "beating curfew and 98 fucking mph!!", he had to get out ofthe car and talk to him so im not sure what all went on, but i was afriad my parents were going to be picking me up at the station tonight

yeah its funny cause he always drives like that, but thats his first ticket, and it cost him his liscence and almost a night in jail

Short Story:
-got caught riding with friend doing 98mph in a 55mph zone
-somehow didnt get arrested but my friend lost his liscence
-i need a good drink

yeah.. i was sitting while he was tlaking to him trying not to piss my pants thinking of what would happen if a cop took me home or my parents had to come pick me up
if they take you home do they just drop you off or do they tlak to your parents?

i have a bunch of friends that drive like that too and they never get tickets either, bastards

me, i mostly still drive my moms car so i cant really drive like that at all, even if i wanted to

if i treid the cops would probably just laugh at me

i wouldnt be charged whit a offense but i would be cuffed and taken away and parents would have to come get me at the station

yeah it was stupid by all means, but the only other car on the road was that cop
i was freakin out to, cause that road isnt well maintained, and the curves feel like you are taking a hairpin when your going that fast

have you ever looked at the laws of other states??
if we were in Illinios it wouldnt have been as big a deal since wreckless driving is 40+ the limit, not 26+ like it is here, and we would only be 3mph above the wreckless driving limit instead of 17mph
in California or Minnesota that wouldnt be wreckless driving since we werent going 100mph, though he would still most likely loose his liscence we woulndt have been able to be arrested

i was freaking out.... but it was like the freaking out you do on a roller coaster(yeah it geuss it was fun while it lasted), ive hit 100 myself before, but that was just to see if my car would do it, ive never been cruising at 100 before, that gets crazy with all the bumps and the corners, but after getting pulled over it was a very slow ride home

he took a really wierd way to get ot my house, i should have to him to go the normal way, but i think he wanted to go that way just to get on the highway

First off, I think this story is a bit beyond exaggeration. Having said that, I used to race all the time. It's such a waste of gas, looking back on those days. Not to mention: dumb. The only place to drive fast is on a track- that way, if you do loose control of your vehicle, which kids seem to forget: it does happen, you're only going to hurt yourself, your car, and the wall.

Also... 100mph.... in an Eclipse GT... kinda red-lining it, weren't ya'll? Just because it's an import doesn't mean it's for racing.

But yeah, glad you, or no one else was hurt. Next time, slap the driver, twice, for pulling a stupid stunt like that.
