Obviously, you don't speak tomahawk. That blunt side is hollow with a little hole in the bottom. It's connected to the long brass tube that comes out the end of the handle.

We had to take a number of belgians trough the city----french class :(

But they are far better than austrians, and contrary to the french, they use normal numbers !! not 4x20 but just plain 80 :)
