I have a headache.

Damn absinthe.

I had 4 shots straight, just the cheap stuff (only 75% alcohol). And then a couple diluted with water. I love and hate that drink.


Honestly, once you've had this, you'll regret ever drinking any lesser alcohol.

...Oh you mean the alcohol? never heard of it.
Is it hard stuff? I don't drink hard stuff.

It's been banned in the US since like 1915. It's an old mix of very high alcohol (I've tried 75%, 85%, and 95% ones) and a vaguely hallogenic chemical. It doesn't get you drunk like normal alcohol does. It's a completely different dimension of drunk.

About 25euro for a 500ml at 75% alcohol bottle. Of course, it's the alcoholic equivalent of more than 60 beers, so you can't complain there. Plus, one bottle will last a person several nights.

It is sold in North America again, but I think they've taken the good stuff out of it to make it legal.

Yup. Canada sells the real stuff in some states, but the US only allows the thujone-free stuff.
