Besides how would they know that the skeleton or where ever they're getting their million year old DNA from is even Adams? Did Adam of a medical record with a his blood type and a list of his allergies in a nice little folder? I find it hard to believe a "cave man" would have anything like that. And you say technology and computers tell us that evolution is fact. How would they know? Computers know only what we tell them to know because they are our creations. A creation cannot know more then the creator. Let me get something straight. Evolution is not fact. Evolution is theory. A theory that has only debatable evidance it ever actually happened. You may think that evolution is absolute but it isn't. Several hundred years ago man-kind believed the earth was flat. That was "fact", that was absolute, but one man had the grit to say "no I don't think so" and he was shonned because of it. Now we know that the man was right. I mean the earth flat? Thats just silly right? Several decades ago we believed that the atom was the smallest partical in existance, until someone finally cracked one open and all this crap came flying out. Another fact proven wrong. My point is that science and more specifically evoultion is constantly changing because there is always some new discovery to throw all the old theories (or "facts") out the window. So don't you think that theres even a little chance that your wrong about evolution now? Some people think that believing that a God created everything dumb because its "unlikely". Well I for one think that the big bang theory is unlikely. Think about it. No body, made something out of nothing. The universe. That is unlikey. But think about creation for a second. Somebody, made something, out of nothing. The Universe. Still unlikely but far more possible then something just coming randomly from nothing with nobody causing it. Its just common sense. Say you find a sandwich on your kitchen counter. You don't know how it got there, you just know you didn't make it. So are you like the Creationist and believe that its there because someone made it and put it there? Or are you like the evolutionist and believe that there was a "bang" and it just appeared there with no explanation? Now you could go either way on this one. It would make more sense to believe that some one made it, but since you don't know who made it, and you didn't see it being made, then logically you should assume it just appeared there. But now rewind and say you find the same sandwhich (the universe) there and next to it there is a note that says: "hey, I made this more you, enjoy," its signed by your mom or you wife or whatever. So now you have a document (the bible) explaining the orgins of the sandwich. Evidently you still didn't see it happen so the note must be a lie. Right? This what the evolutionist believes. So they choose to believe that the sandwich just appeared there, as evolutionists believe that the universe just appeared there. It's kind of funny that they think this way though, because they didn't actually see it "just appeare there" either so why would you believe that theory over the other? Ignorance maybe, or perhaps a fear of someone bigger then us that we couldn't possibly begin to understand. After all man-kind has always feared what it doesn't understand. At any rate, I personally think that every thing on this earth, from the smallest cell to the biggest ecosystem, works together far to well for it to have all just happen. Our planet is of a grand design with a depth of complexity we will never truely know (and this just the physical here and now, nevermind the complexity of good and evil, spirits, sin, or redemtion). As the saying goes "Our understanding is but a grain of sand on the beach of God's understanding." sry for the long post, but I just discovered this thread and I have alot to say. |
