Default Is it even possible to kill the friggin' elephants?

The only thing that seems to work is to scare them away with fire arrows.

It doesn't seem to be too bright, but it might be because I play on easy . I played that game on medium though, and as you can see I whopped some ass.

When you can defeat a thousand man army with the loss of only 2 horsemen, you know something is wrong.

The "keep the enemy busy with infantry whilst flanking with cavalry whilst bombarding them with arrows" tactic always seems to work.

The send your force head-on that is usually 10x larger and win tactic works, too.

I play that game. Using the Vesiti works well against them, the spears do better damage. I just distract them with cavalry, then hit them with ranged units. As long as they're away from your main army's body, you're fine.

Have you tried the Total Realism Mod?
