I got 59.
I went into town, down to the RSPCA shelter and fried them alive in their cages, one by one. Not quickly though, and certainly not all at once.
There’s that lovely smell of smouldering fur and flesh, mixed with the rich depth of shit, which is so commonly found at this time of year.
Some of them I’d pour petrol on and sprinkle sparks all over so I could watch them run and hear their little doggy screams, others I’d place electrodes on their eyes and boil them clean out of their skulls.
But one way or another they all died.

Our Chemistry teacher built a small petrol flamethrower but it leaked and her hand went on fire. She ran it under the tap.
