Default Your Top PS2 Games?
I'm starting a blog surrounding everything PS2. It truely was a great system. I've noticed a lot of people are still considering purchasing a PS2 since the PS3 is still a bit pricey for people. If you were to give someone advice to pick up just 3 PS2 games with your system which 3 are absolute must have games?

I've come to realize seeing other people's picks that I've apparently missed out on some great games.

My 3 are Metal Gear Solid 3, Resident Evil 4, and Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas.

Back when I had a PS2, these were my favourite games:

Prince Of Persia: The Sands Of Time
Spider-Man 2
GTA Vice City
Soul Calibur 2
SOCOM
GUN

You should consider them.

Eh, Spiderman was okay. SOCOM games always kick ass
Gotta say the Battlefront and Battlefield games win it with me. The online communities are still full of people.

I miss SOCOM2.

If there is going to be another SOCOM, I hope there will be an Xbox 360 version.

Doubtful it would ever be on 360, the SOCOM series has always been published by Sony. Great series though, Confrontation was ok, way too many bugs when it was released that weren't fixed for a long while. As a result, all their promised DLC never materialized, though some free maps and weapons are supposed to come out by Christmas (way too little, way too late).

My top PS2 games of all time are:
  • Shadow of the Colossus
  • GTA III
  • SOCOM II
  • Gran Turismo 4
  • God of War II
  • ICO
  • MGS2 (the first PS2 game I ever played)
  • MGS3

Battlefront II (I just bought it for pc this week, i rlly wanted to play it so badly again )
GTA:VC and SA
Prince of Persia: The two thrones. (Just any Prince of Persia game, but that was the only one i had )
