| Having owned a PSP, I can say, it's worth the money. An original PSP, y'know, the one with the UMDs? Honestly, I'm going to say the PSP Go is no improvement over the previous models. First of all, there's no second analog stick, which I hate. Second of all, good luck getting your games if you don't have an internet connection. Just incase you don't know, the PSP Go has no UMD slot. You have to download your games all from the online store. And third of all, it feels like a cheap Samsung phone. I mean seriously, the original PSP which I have is amazing, durable and weighty so it actually feels like I'm holding a piece of technology, the new one just feels like I'm holding my cheap phone. But oh my god, PSP is an awesome entertainment device. Not only does it play games you can watch your favorite movie, get the last episode of that TV show, and on top of all that it feels so comfy, not the design but just navigating around the menu and online and all of that stuff. The games are OK, expect to get what you paid $19 for. After all, these are no super-graphic-next-gen-$70 games. So if this is your question, then yes, PSP is definitely worth $150 you pay for the original one, I advise you not to get the new $250 one since add $50 and you got yourself the PS3.

| I totally agree with Authuran. Though I'd like to further explain that there are 3 kinds of PSPs. The original fat one, the slim (2000-series) and the 3000-series whose nickname escapes me at the moment. The 3000-series is what I'd recommend. Go is still to be judged IMO, give it a bit more time. Sony's bound to try and get some gimmick to get it to sell to non-fanboys. As for the PS3 compatibility thing. No. Although you can download games using the PS3 for the PSP and transfer it.I just haven't figured out how. |

| The thing is though, Sony's not going to be supporting the 3000 forever, which means eventually once the Go picks up they're going to discontinue it. And UMDs. You can still download games to your 3000 though, right? I've always gotten mine through UMDs.

| Yeah, download still works for 3000 but I think it's only through the PS3. I'm not sure if they'll be allowing downloads from the PSN into the PC. They should though. But they might not because of piracy issues. |

| I would personally recommended the PSP 1-3k. I heard that the PSP go breaks pretty easily and the PSPs 1-3k are cheaper then the Go. |

| Get a PSP 3000, unless you want custom firmwire that will support awesome new features. In that case, get an older along with all the stuff you need to mod it. PSP Go is crap.
