Ps3/Xbox 360 dilemma

if all your friends have a ps3, then get a ps3
i personally would never choose a ps3 over xbox, basically because epic has been my fav gaming company since i was umm... about 10 years old, and gears of war is only out on xbox
also most people in my school have an xbox so yeah i think theyre better

If you had to choose, weigh the Red Rings of Death vs. Blu Ray player vs. friends having the same console. Me personally, if I had to choose I would go PS3. But I have waaaay more games for th 360, so I actually like the 360 better. I got the 360 for a specific reason and I got a Blu Ray player with the PS3. The exclusives for each system, Im just glad I got both..

I should probably add this in: I prefer the Xbox 360 controller over the PS3 controller anyday. The triggers on the 360 controller feel a lot more natural than the buttons on the Sixaxis- with the Sixaxis, whenever I'm playing shooters, I keep smashing on the L and R buttons to make sure that I am able to shoot at the right time and so that my fingers don't slip off of the buttons. Also, the control sticks also don't have too much friction on them, so aiming exactly where I want to can sometimes be an adventure in itself.

Well with all the reasons you posted it would only make sense to sell the 360 and by a PS3.

I personally would not go that far, but then again, I've only gotten the Red Ring of Death once so far, so I consider myself lucky.

I keep my 360 for several reasons- for the mostly-comfortable controller; for games like Gears of War, Splinter Cell: Conviction, Mass Effect, Crackdown, and shooters in general; and because most of my friends have Xbox Live (not too many of them have PS3's, so I usually need to seek out and contact my internet friends- which isn't the same as playing with real life friends).

But otherwise, if you are sick and tired of the problems that the Xbox 360 has, and you just can't be bothered to get something else fixed, go ahead and sell it for a PS3. Just be aware that your game library has been dealt a considerably large blow.
