| Hey all. I love the original Soldier of Fortune, but haven't played it since I've went to Windows Vista. I've tried everything I can think of and can't get it to run without a dozen texture errors and bugs. Anyone know a fix or a Windows 95 emulator or something that can get this game to run? I'd love to play this game again. |

| Thanks for your reply. Unfortunatly thats not where my problem lies. I can run the game, its just that all textures will be all messed up. For example, walls will be completly matte white and stuff. Any idea how to fix that? |

It is a graphic error but if you have a HD card above 3000 they have openGL errors currently and you will get high fps and crappy walls... Be patient with whatever card make you have or complain to them ;D I had similar problem, it includes having weird and dodgy menus, black, pink, red skins... either downgrade your card or wait for upgrade I cant promise any versions below the drivers you have will fix the problem. Try this. www.donotargue.com Custom Graphic Drivers, they might have solved this problem already. Give them a try, im currently running on HD 2600, DNA 8.12 and my card runs smooth. |
