I always go back to SOF2, other MP games just dont seem to play as well. I basically use SOF2 as a benchmark now...... :D

my life is a touching story of slowly evolving along the development of games, so here is my game autobiography:
NINTENDO: Contra, Mario, FF1
SEGA: SHAQ FOO, Sonic,
SNES: Donkey Kong Country 1, 2, 3, Mario,
N64: My First FPS, GOLDENEYE, mario 64, Conkers Bad Fur day
goldeneye is the ultimate training game, because it has NO CROSSHAIR! hell yah,
16 levels with 4 diffeculty levels AND MP mode where u can own the rocket launcher with a DD4. hten there is suoper smash brothers. this game rox. conkers bad fur day is really fun too.
futhermore, i suggest u all go down to ur local funcoland, or gamestop whatever it is now-a-days, and spend 50$ and get a N64 with all the games i mentioned. in fact im so bored i just might go make a pole on this.
either way, N64 made me the gamer and i am today. o yah, and HALF LIFE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

not really ocasionally some rs or spearhead or something but i really dont even play that much sof 2 anymore as soon as i discovered the skins section on soffiles.com all i really did was download as many skins as possible and i would only play sof2 in short spans just to test skins but rarely i will play for an hour or two or three but all my energy right now is going into skinning

Mostly SOF2, used to play a flight sim called USAF, then I play GTA3 on the ps2 and a little C&C Generals when i feel like it.

Im with you MC. KILLY i have purchased many games since i first bought sof2 but none of them are as fun as sof what i want 2 know is when half life 2 comes out is it gonna have an mp game or is it gonna be another expansion pack like counter strike was to half life one?

SoF2 is the greatest game on earth...i know that other games may have a little better graphics...but SoF2 has THE BEST gameplay EVER...nothing can compare to SoF2...it is and always will be the BEST game EVER!!!!

i gotta disagree with you here de@dly there are many games out there that can compare with sof2 (raven shield, serious sam series [my personal favorites] even though serious sam may have really bad graphics those games were fun, are we talking in terms of multiplayer or single player sof beats out alot of games in multiplayer but there are a few that can stand up to it raven shield again that game is awesome mp and sp bf1942 may not be best graphics or most deatailed maps but when it comes to multiplayer it rocks i mean come one you get you fly planes and drive stuff and stuff yeah ok my opinion

MAN you can tell what the best game is by going to other forums. sof2 has more clients than any other fps forum out there. i notice this when i was searching for another cool fps like sof2. so i guess you can tell how good a game is by the # of clients on the forums. i may be wronge, but its lolid enough for me. and all i play is sof2. oh, i just got Diablo2 from my manager. is it any good? i never really played a rpg before. :mepimp:

IMO= In MY Opinion :)
Q3 is the best for 1v1 tourneys.
Sof2 is great for team games, INF ect.
BF1942 just is awesome all around, so many roles to play in that game.

i agree with you here beef flaps i dunno about the Q3 part well because i never play that game but the other two are right on also wolfenstein: enemy territory is awesome alot of roles to play to but you cant drive vehicles :(

yeah, I forgot about ET and Wolfie... great team games, and ET is free:)

I am just hoping they release HL2 in Sept :bows:

those games rock AA is alright i dont really like the gameplay for it though but HL2 is gonna rock i cant wait im gonna replay hl 1 to refresh my memory

Try the demo if you like fast paced 1v1 battles, and like doing tricks.
Keep in mind the latest Q3 patch is MUCH better then this demo.

Is Q3 hard to play? i have Q3 Cd but not installked it yet, becaue when i got it i had 56k. now, when i have broadband, the first multiplayer game i tried was (runescape) then SoF2 -->so i have not yet tried Q3.

yes half life 2 is coming September 30th hopefully that is what all the sites say you can pre order at gamestop.com it is gonna rock...hopefully beef flaps that url you gave me is weird i cant figure out how to download Q3 there are like 3 mirrors but they dont give you a link to the download page but whatever saberz next time try to put all those posts in one post

lol i though imo was a game.. i'll play almost anything thats realistic i dont like hl cause the aliens etc.. AA rocks but it dont have ctf etc.. whichh are great game types

sof2 is the shite for online gaming, so many of my buddys want to get a comp now after playing it on mine
its my favorite game right now (and has been since its release) i like other games too, but i always end up bored with them, and go back to sof2, nothing i've found beats it (yet).

Q3 is not hard to play, unless you are playing against me ;)
If you go up against seasoned players, then you might not get a frag in edge wise. But in general it is a great 1v1 game, and Capture the flag game.
It is on the same engine as this precious sof2 ;)

As far as net code, Q3 has just as good net code ;)

definitley faster paced i got killed b4 i even got to a new weapon and like saber went back to sof in about an hour of getting my arse whopped but it is a fun game, cs though i finally got around to buying the platinum of edition of hl with all of the expansion packs i wanted to see if cs lived up to teh craze about it i dont really like the game play, with the whole buying system say ur on a crappy team u will never get any money so you cant buy any ammo or weapons so your team will keep on sucking

Yeah ur right BoB, once u on a crap team, then u will be getting owned, until u all walk round with pistols:furious::furious:. BBBOOORRRIIINNNGG. Graphics are also crap:mad:. Overall CStrike gets 5/10 IMO.

In Q3 you cannot walk. You must bunnyhop around to avoid being nailed by railguns.
Also you need to master rocketjumping to survive.
sof2 is much more relaxed shooter, I agree but sometimes I love the whiteknuckle Q3 matches .
Like I said, whole diff world than sof.
As for CS, I never liked that game.

beef flaps what do you mean by bunny hop around you mean just jump around to avoid getting hit alot of n00bs in sof do that but q3 is alright i played it a bit more it is fun imo cs gets around a 6 or so cause they have a cool selection of weapons but i still love raven shield tons of weapons and kits and it is just so much fun

Hmmmz just cause some ppl jump about when in a shotty fight to aviod getting killed by someone whats up with that?
