SOF2 Remote Stat Utility.

Hi guys, I am in the process (40 percent done) of writing a remote server logging program for Sof2 remote servers.

Background:
The Clan I run [BoB] use a hired dedicated (Pro) server from Uber1337 and we also have can website www.bob-mohaas.co.uk. We have decided to have server stats on our web page.

Well ....after alot of time searching (Sof2 logger etc) their seems no decent solution for "REMOTE" stats e.g Uber1337 and most other game server providers wont allow the running of executables on their servers and if we did get to install the program and get it running then we'd have no real control over it e.g if it crashed we'd have to wait for them to start it again. Most utils of this time are aimed at servers that are home based.

So I decided to write my own Remote Stats Program.

How it works:
The program runs on a machine at my house, I'm on cable and have a spare machine permanently connected via a router. Every specified period (an hour or so) my program FTP's the sof2 log file down to the spare machine, parses the information, stores it in a local database and then creates a Web page based on the data and then uploads it to our web server (using FTP)... simple really. I am building in a timer as well to facilitate the logging of stats either "All the time" or "at "Certain Periods". (Good for Just Clan Match Stats)

This progam was primarily for the BoB Server, to feed our particular need, but if anyone wants to use (Beta Test) it then they are welcome.

I am writing the program in Visual Studio.Net so it will only run on Win32 machines with the .Net framework 1.1 installed.

Please post a message here if interested, if not.. sorry to have wasted your time.

Regards

Also putting in a leader board option: e.g you can only get on the leader board after playing a previously determined amount of time (say 15 hours). To encourage peeps to return to the server.

Also 2 modes of stat display:
1) Normal Tops kills = Top of board
2) Kills vs Deaths Ratio = Top of board

To me No 2 is a greater show of skill, e.g. if you Kill 100 people and get killed 90 time.... you aint much of a player
