what ur talking about has nuthin to do with binds....it is special buttons...hit the tilde key (~) and enter in the word /tokens and it will give u a lis of codes exept for healh and armor ad health and armor meters....which r health level=#h health meter=#B armor level=#a armor meter=#b....the other codes have to do with where u r at and whos closest to u on ur team and the other team and all ur weapons...like i sed if u hit the tilde key (~) and type in /tokens ull get that list...if u need anything else give a shout;)

Health meter thingy

I'm confused about how to show your health:

i know you type #H, but where do you type that?
is that the complete code?
do you have to download anything to do that?
i tried just typing #H to show my healt in the console, but all that does is send is as text!, also, when i do /#H, it says its an unknown command!

PLEASE HELP!

PS (whats an OSP, probably a stupid question, but what does it stnad for)

KaotiK April 9th, 2003 02:19 PM

for info on osp go here click client commands, then scroll down to tokens.
not all servers run osp (shame :(

Stonewall April 20th, 2003 08:59 AM

Newbie here....

I get most of this about binding, but what is the correct format for binding a color message?

I understand to bind the key you type

/bind (key) say (whatever)

but where, or when, do you enter the color instructions??

[10x][TheFORCE] April 20th, 2003 09:12 AM

esc, go to options, shift +6 then type any number or letter to get a color.

KaotiK April 20th, 2003 09:19 AM

stonewall
you'd type bind x say ^# whatever
x = any key
# = any number.
^ is shift + 6
there that should be easy for you to understand.

/bind I say_team ^7Sniper ^1!!!!!^7 OMG DUCK YOU FOOLS ^1!

ayayay

i keep typing /tokens to see all the tokens, but it keeps saying "unknown cmd" or something of the sort! what is going on! please help me

also, when i type just "#h" in the console it shows it at the bottom of the screen as if i had said that to talk to my team instead of it beinga command. Am i actually suposed to put a number in the # of #h?

for example, am i supposed to type 6H instead of #h, i'm really confuesd, please help

OSP stands for Orange Smoothie Productions. Its a server side mod. There are many servers out there running it now, but many still not running it. If you try and use OSP commands on a non OSP server, they will be unknown cmds.

Flam531 April 22nd, 2003 04:13 PM

the health

i'm confused:

how do you know if a server is an OSP?
how do you show your health by typing: i type #b in the console, but that shows it as text for me, instead of an actual bar?
how can i incorporate my health bar into a bind:

[Bind 1 say My Health #b] ?

Is that how you do it? I tried that but it actually types #b instaed of showing a bar!

HELP PLEASE!

Dave9191 April 22nd, 2003 04:21 PM

Is a server OSP or not. Sometimes its in the title of the server. Another clear sign that its an OSP server is when you join it and are playing on it, you have a msg displayed accross the screen (red's and yellow's) called the motd. You can type into the console

/players

That will give you a list of all players and their status (player/admin) on the server. If it says bad command, you are not on an OSP server.

Again, if you are not on an OSP server you #b will show #b when you say it instead of your health.

And thats how you make binds for OSP servers.

_SAF_ April 28th, 2003 12:53 PM

in consle type bind <any key> say <message> then during they game jst click that button and walla its as easy as echo "^1 abc123 red

Flam dont feel bad, I have EXACTLY the same questions as you lol. Your thread is helping me greatly! thanks!

{PhX} XIII April 30th, 2003 09:25 PM

I have almost the same question so I'll post it here. (I've searched trust me) I wanted to know how to bind voice commands to the number keys on the right side of the keyboard? (sry for my layman interpretation) I've tried so many binds but no luck. I recently seen the binds on this forum and just pasted them to my cfg file and it worked perfectly but my pc recently got all fugged up lost everything:mad: now I cant find them the binds on this forum.

it went kind of like this:

bind kp enter vsay-team cover me
bind kp + vsay-team under fire
bind kp Del. vsay-team I need back up now

PLEASE help

Thanks!!!

Sir Paul May 1st, 2003 01:07 AM
