admin /adm help !OSP!
 

i have been on a bunch of OSP servers, and they all had /adm commands and such, like mute, strike ect. after finding out about this, and finding out that supposedly, the command to add an admin is:
addadmin id#
then i go back to my server, which is OSP enabled. no adm commands. available. and im positive i have "enable admin behavior" enabled... help please?:cya: :cya: :lol: :lol: :cya: :cya:

Make sure the two lines bleow match the lines in your SOF2_OSP.CFG, that should sort you out..

set sv_enableAdminPowers "1" // Enables Admin Powers
set sv_adminfile "osp_admins.cfg" // Admin file containing GUID's

yah i added the scrips to the file, still nothing
 

maybe i am missing a file i am supposed to have already??
and was i right about the command for adding an admin being:
addadmin id#

You trying to add admin with rcon

rcon addadmin id#

I have looked through my files and can see nothing extra so will rcon it should add ..........

i tried that, seems the file aint there?
 

i type /adm in consol and it says it is not a command

...then it isnt a OSP-server...

If you run the server with sof2runner, make sure you have filled in the little square where it says "enable osp-server"...

i tried launching a other server, made sure all the osp stuff was right, and still nothing! is there any downloads i need to enable OSP?
i went to the site, but only found q3 STUFF ANd rtcw stuff.

if ur the server admin then delete any osp_admins.cfg or LIKE files from the osp folder.

Now go to the server and enter your rcon password

rconpassword blblbl

now type sv_adminfile osp_admins.cfg

now addadmin #

it should then announce # is now an admin

Leave the server and go to the server osp folder look for osp_admins.cfg open this with notepad is should have

GUID name
####################### blablabla

If the file does not exsist or there is no data in the file then you have done something wrong.

If all is there then go back to the server and then type /players this will show who is admin who is ref and who is normal player
