hi to all, would appriciate if someone could tell me what patches I need to play online. Also is it normal to see mods or maps downloading on my screen before I can play.[ or am I doing things right already ]. Im using pentium4 and xp home....Thnx in advance

To play online u dont need patches .
u can get the most maps on soffiles , better to download them here then from the servers , alot faster. after dwl , unzip and put pk3 in base folder that u find in ur game DIR.
for mods also better to download them from the net.

that will pretty much bring you up to a standard. after that it is really server dependant.
a tip though do not turn downloads on. they only download at 5 kb/s which is bad.
instead check the server info before joining. most have websites with a list of maps and so on they use. they normally have them available to download of there site.
