favourite maps i would like to know what your top 3 custom maps are. with the huge choice of maps done by some talented people it would be great to know what people are playing. also i will do the goldrush bot routes for them. it would be a good oppertunity to see what maps the developers like to play as well. (developers try to be unbiased although 1 shameless plug for your maps are welcome http://forums.filefront.com/images/smilies/smilie.gif ) |
Re: favourite maps There is a map called "Downtown". Love that one. Valley of the kings ( VOK ) and a little tiny map called, "mazes". the map is 85k to download, and when there is more than 6 people on it, it is absolute mayhem. Shotgun fest galore, so not many people stick around cause they don't have the talent to use a shottie. ;) |

Re: favourite maps Valley of Kings has to be the best custom map ever made!! Secondly for me is probably Bridge of Argonath, because its a very fun map. And finally a little map called 1337 I made for my clan 2 years ago. It's really small and loads of fun 1v1 or 10v10 :D |

Re: favourite maps 1337 is a good map. its been a while since i played that. but i have never heard of downtown or mazes. i will have a look at them this weekend. but as you say vok rocks. i am surprised there hasnt been a ver2 of that map. i think that a tcah match on there would be excellent. |

Yes .. we have mazes on our server. and it is called Brutus battle maze, we just call it mazes. LOL nice tight small map. it is a shotgun fiasco. I may put it up on sof2 and sof3 servers. Only an 85k download. |
Re: favourite maps i havent added my favourite maps yethttp://forums.filefront.com/images/s...smiley-011.gif . 1 vok. a old map but still one of the best. 2 uk high wire 3. i think that map speaks for itself. great job uk S@S 3 gold chop suey (from the goldrush mod) a medium sized map. a bit like downtown. and a great ctf map. wow that was hard. when you actually sit down and think about it there are so many that are great maps for diffrent reasons.... to ALL the people that have done a map. even if it is not mentioned here now or in the future.:bows: :bows: thank you for it. |
Re: favourite maps My top 3 is a combination of 3 maps mentioned in earlier posts: CS Italy, Swimminpool and uk high wire 3. There aint really a order from 1 to 3 cuz I like them all very much. CS Italy cuz the roof and the lower(tunnel) parts, swimminpool cuz of the nice surprise attacks(jump from roof) and sniping places, and uk high wire 3 also cuz of the nice sniping places(top of the tower ;)) Though I'm not really excited about VOK cuz there so many places where you can be seen when sniping and the sniping places are limited... Don't know if you've ever heard of web_crawler but thats also a funny map ;) you should download it :P Oh and we shouldn't forget Monopoly, UK_snipe_stadium and The_runaway_train!! |

Re: favourite maps I've been running a DeathMatch Pwn[Bot] server. Took me some time to find .wps bot routes. A_Guy has helped me out with some requests. I have 2 customs maps running: The Assault on Shop by Mad Mike: mp_shop69...excellent map! Drive-Theatre by tbonekiller: drive_in...reminds me of my dad would take us kids on weekends back when you only had 3-4 local TV channels and Beta Max movie rentals. I'm always looking for a good custom map w/Pwnbots added. |
