favourite maps
 

i would like to know what your top 3 custom maps are. with the huge choice of maps done by some talented people it would be great to know what people are playing. also i will do the goldrush bot routes for them.
it would be a good oppertunity to see what maps the developers like to play as well. (developers try to be unbiased although 1 shameless plug for your maps are welcome http://forums.filefront.com/images/smilies/smilie.gif )

There is a map called "Downtown". Love that one.
Valley of the kings ( VOK )
and a little tiny map called, "mazes". the map is 85k to download, and when there is more than 6 people on it, it is absolute mayhem. Shotgun fest galore, so not many people stick around cause they don't have the talent to use a shottie. ;)

valley of the kings OWNS! too bad there are only sucky servers running it, either laggy, real dmg or DM... or all 3 of those :(

Valley of Kings has to be the best custom map ever made!! Secondly for me is probably Bridge of Argonath, because its a very fun map. And finally a little map called 1337 I made for my clan 2 years ago. It's really small and loads of fun 1v1 or 10v10 :D

1337 is a good map. its been a while since i played that. but i have never heard of downtown or mazes. i will have a look at them this weekend.
but as you say vok rocks. i am surprised there hasnt been a ver2 of that map.
i think that a tcah match on there would be excellent.

i have just dl downtown and it supports all goldrush gametypes. thanks for that merrick.:) but i cant find mazes any chance of adding a link.
that goes for all if it isnt on soffiles.com please add a link. and remember to stick to forum rules.:deal:

Its not featured on SoF2files, the author never submitted it.

However attached is the map in a zipfile. If this is against the wishes of the author then it will be removed.

sir paul can you remove the zip file from your post. its only fair that the developer has people dl the full version (with credits). thank you.
have just played downtown and it is a good map (reminds me of gold_chopsuey). i will add that to my list of botroute to create for goldrush.
