some question about multiplayer
 

hi! one question. why the hack can i see one certain multiplayer game (always 20 guys playing, its cool) in version 1 of sof2? coz now i downloaded patch 1.01... its not visible anymore!! and with the gold-patch also not visible! whats the big deal behind this one? only accessable with version 1.00?

and another question: i've now upgraded to version 1.03 (gold), want to connect to a game where lotsa people are on, but i get following error message:

DEFAULT IDENTITY (mullinsjungle)
failed to register

anyone has a clue about these things?

for the first question, you can't mix the versions (ex. Play 1.00 with 1.01 patch and so on) So If you wanna play in the V1.00 room then make two separate SOF2 folders--make a copy of the program file and rename it. As for the second one--??????, Happy Fraggin!

Theres still 1.00 servers out there? lol, I was happy when 1.03 came out with Punkbuster, and never had any interest in going back.

OWNED by that little friend of ours called PUNKBUSTER. If there was no pb then i would'nt play the game online at all.

WELL PUT ACE & INSOMNIA THIS IS SOF 2 GOLD (It's amazing how many people download the 1.03 patch a week)

well with version 1.03 there are currently only 3 servers with players online... each of these 3 servers with about 5-9 persons. no thanks, are they any times where more players are online? coz now its f*** boring in sof2 v1.03

3 servers LOL u gotta be joking, i can name at least 15 off my head....just having a look 3/4 of the servers are nearly full, and thats just australian/new zealand servers.

Im not sure where your looking, but i just opened The All Seeing Eye, and can see 200+ American/Euro servers running 1.03 (theres gotta be over 1000 players playing atm), its just they have their different Mods, OSP, RockMod, RD, ICS and so on. 1.03 is the best version of sof2, PunkBuster Roxors my Joxors :P
