Punkbuster
 

Ok i just downloaded Gold... and installed it. Now when i connect to a server it says... "Punkbuster Anti - Cheat Software is required to play on this server"... where do i get the software?

Punkbuster comes with the gold edition. To join a pb server just enable it at the top of the screen that shows the servers etc.
Don't forget to update it. (see the pb documentation.)

Pb is a good anti-cheat software, but not so userfriendly... make sure your read the FAQ as it explains some important stuff (open ports, errormessages)...

Open SOF2 and make sure the clientversion of PB is enabled, via console: pb_cl_enable
Close SOF2 and download PBWEB and place it in your SOF2/PB directory. Then run the program (can take awhile, especially 1st time). You should end up with an up2date PB :beer:

ok.. thanks for the help.. got it going... some servers though. I connect... and im dont cheat or anything... but as soon as its finished loading it says.. "Punkbuster server has banned you for 0 minutes"... and i go to connect to the same server(s) again and same thing happens again and again. Whats going on?

post a screenshot of the message, or write down everything that it says, the info u have provided so far are not sufficient.
