Hello all. Just wanted to announce a new soundpack(s) that will be released in the next little while.

Its called the StreetWarz soundPack. Its the V2 of the NFC SoundPack made 6 or so months ago.

Made by NFC Korrigan and myself, NFC Pickard, we decided to almost start from scratch and only keep my steps sounds from my last pack. In the last pack, I tried to change everything I could. It was big, still the biggest that comprised some original material. There is one is bigger, but it was more of a greatest hits soundpack, nothing original.

This time, weve been constructing our own, original soundpack (well, almost, in Canada we dont have access to guns very readily, but of the sounds we used, they have been reconstructed (with permissions in some cases), expanded and given a good shot of steriods!!), and we have dug deep. Finding new paths, new sounds, events to make this the most in-depth sound pack available. Last pack was 8 megs done, this one is already at 9 megs and were still going! I imagine well run out of sounds at 10 megs or so.

We stopped at nothing. The jump_pain sounds will make you cringe with its bone-cruching realness. Brand new sounds for the events like capping the flag, suicide and more.

With the release of the main Soundpack will be 2 Add-on packs which will include voice over bites from movies, TV, and other games for dieing events, capping and such. One is a clean version, and one is a dirty version. Each one will work in conjunction with the main soundpack, and can be removed if you find they are not your cup of tea.

im not gonna say i want this mod because i could want in one hand and S*** in the other and see which gets filled first(id end up with a warm hand i think)

Yeah, I said next little while cause, although its about to go beta, and were gonna make the add-ons while a few clanmates test it, real-life always tends to interfear in these things.

Also, one would not advertise a mod, then release it the same day. Usually said modder would want ppl to read about it first, hence the thread. Hope that makes sense.

If all goes well though, it should be out first weekend of February at the latest.

I hope so, we've worked really hard on it. And ty for the vote of confidence.

Its close by the way. The main pack is completed. Just constructing the add-ons, which should take a week at most while the pack gets tested.

Space Agey? Sure you got the right pack? If your going by the sounds of when you grab the flag and such, those are just like 5 sounds out of 195. You do hear um quite alot though.

Main pack is done. 11.5 megs. Might just keep the add-ons on our own site seeing as there just funny CTF events which include sounds in the main pack anyways.

Its completed and will be up for DL shortly. I dont read file comments, as it seems its just kids cutting ppl's work up instead of just enjoying this free service, but I do you hope you like it and are nice enough to be positive in your critiques.

File was submitted Tuesday night. Up to our friendly neighbourhood sof2files file poster to answer your quetion. They do get an awful lot of files to go thru.

i was the eighth person to dld and installed right away an went an tried it out

Well TY very much Paul. Thats high praise considering how many files I imagine you've tested. Korri and I really put forth the best effort we could, and reading that makes all the more worthwhile. You and your guys do a great service in the community and many thankx from us at the NFC. :bows:

We wanted this to be the ultimate in soundpacks, to set the bar even higher so to speak. By the response Ive noticed by the community, I think we achieved that goal, and Korri and I are very proud of the hours (omg the hours) we put into it. The CTF Cap bite alone took 6 hrs to create! :coffee:

We figured a soundpack should be huge, should be violent, should be loud and grab you by the, well you know. We dont care how many ppl DL it, (although alot is nice, lol) just hope that those who do use it, use it alot and enjoy it as much as we do. Nothing like the sound of a huge gunfight with nades going off and all the madness therein.

Hope you choose to use it as your regular pack Paul, and the rest of the community too, its yours now. Thanks for the support and kind words.

Yes mate this new sound pack is sooo much better than the
first. I've been using them since i saw they were ready for d/l
and i must say im impressed good job:thumbsup:
