Setting up a server on sof2
 

Hello,

i need a lot of help i am new 2 sof2 and i wanted 2 set up a server to start a clan! i went inot the multiplayer server setup thing: and typed in what n how i wanted my server to be and klick on the button and it came up with the soldier of fortune console. it has been doing this:

Sending heartbeat to master.sof2.ravensoft.com

for the last 20 minutes and its not working? can any one help me please?

It did work. That's all its supposed to be. If the console is still up, start SOF2 (from the icon you normally start it from and look under the "Local" servers and it should be right there. Have a friend from somewhere (or use another pc on another connection) see if it shows up in the list of internet servers to see what their ping is to see if your connection can come anywhere close to handling it (most clans just rent servers from companies with dedicated bandwidth and machines, they cost between 30-75 bucks a month). You're not the first person to think it was just frozen there not doing anything though.

and how you can be admin in your own server??

I set up a server and i downloaded the all seeing eye, but when i go to my server it loads up and then says "invalid game folder". I had a problem with that happening while trying to go to a few of the other clan servers. Any idea wats wrong?

That is what it does, its telling you the server is running, now you need to start the game as normal and find your server

how do u get admin on ur server (mainly) or somone else's if that is possible????
